Steele's?....BBQ?.....mountains?....Dad?!!!! WHAT THE?!!

I know....did Jake just say Dad, bbq, and mountains in the same sentence. This is no joke. Who would joke about something like this. Last time this happened we were all youngins and we were wearing cut off shorts that would be considered a thong these days. I don't know how she did it, but Patty somehow managed to place father in a vehicle and transport him to a mountaineous region where there were leafy tall swaying plants called trees and a flaming hot substance called fire. We partook of delicious foods called hot dogs and hamburgers, we think they are German. At one point we placed a half melted puffy sugar pillow called a marsh mellow in between two cracker like shells with a chunk of cubed brown solid sugar called chocolate. It was amazingly tasty and it made us all say, 'mmm, can I have smore'? Later someone told us that was the name of this goody, a smore. It makes perfect sense. Thank you nature, thank you for letting us once again enjoy a hearty game of horse shoes with the old man.

HIGH FIVE!

I know I know, I need to get Ash to take this blog thing over, cuz as you can see I'm no 'blogger.' If I were I would have had some cool music playing by now and maybe an occasional update. What the hay, I'm just a cavemen. I thought to peak your interest and to get this party started again, I'd post a picture from our day at the lake this last weekend. VERY NICE.....HIGH FIVE! Stay tuned for more frequent posts and pictures that you actually might want to see.

New and improved Hiccup inc.

So here is the new look of Hiccup inc. The site is www.hiccupinc.com. That will take you to our shopping site and our blog. It's all a work in progress so its got a few kinks still. Let us know what you think. Oh and by the way, MARTHA WAS SWEET!! Ash rocked the heezy and did a great job. She is amazing. I on the other hand sat in the front row scared out of my gord (spelling?). Martha was pretty hot in person. I got to shake her hand a take pictures (which we'll post as soon as we can find them). She's got a kung fu grip. So anyways, New York was as cool as everyone says it is and our little Wonderboy took his first steps while we were gone. SON OF A! It's crazy how they change in just a week. His new super power is hitting daddy on the head with his hammer that sings a cute song when it hits something. It is painfully cute for daddy, but cute none the less. Just want to say thank you to everyone who helped with Milo and also helped us get ready for the show. Couldn't have done it without you. Sorry for the long nights with Milo, I know, we need to get him in his crib. But you got to admit, he is quite cuddly sleeping next to you. Love everyone, peace out.

Dad's favorite part of the day.

Mom will hate me for this picture, but I think it's sexy, and it has MIlo in it too.

Maybe we can get another dentist out of this family after all. This kid is 1 and still no teeth, but he's got some clean gums.

Milo's first car. Who thinks Dad shouldn't be giving Milo driving lessons? Milo's already talking about getting some new 22's (those are rims for those unfamiliar with ghetto slang). At one point he called the car his 'whip.' Don't know where that came from. And there was some talk about driving with the top down so his hair can blow. I think he's been listening to a little too much Vanilla Ice. That would be Moms fault.

This saucer of pure sugar is like liquid gold, but delicious

Big ups to Milo for turning 1 this week. This is his first encounter with cake, and he dominated it. At a boy. I know what you are thinking, maybe you could have taken the red eye out. Silly humans, you'll notice the small hands peaking into the picture frame. Those hands are headed right toward is tasty birthday snack!!!! Those are eyes of fury and RAGE! Don't get it twisted. Or something...

Hiccupinc. goes live baby!

Well, it's official. Hiccup inc. is a legitimate biz. Thanks to Ash and our friends the Olsens this thing is finally off the ground and its picking up some serious speed. I'm talking speed like when Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock go sliding out from under the bus as it goes crashing into that big plane in the movie Speed type of speed. You know, the type of speed that jiggles your cheeks on some crazy roller coaster as you pray know one is looking at your jiggly face. That type of speed. Not really, but Ash will be standing next to Martha Stewart on April 16th sharing with Martha the secrets to mod podging. Oh, did I say Martha, that's right I did!!!! Live, on the air, side by side Martha freaking Stewart! I will be sitting in the audience participating in a past time activity some like to call crapping my pants. It's ok, I just ordered a case of 'oops I crapped my pants' diapers. I like to be prepared. Maybe they'll pan over to me sitting there, so proud of my sweet wife. What they won't know is although messy, I am quite comfortable in my manly yet dainty and dependable dipey. So anyways, Hiccup inc. is the name of our little side project. It's easy to find at www.hiccupinc.com. Have a look, it's fun. We'll keep you posted as the show gets closer.

Good times with yellow shirts

I was looking through some old pictures trying to find something to add to the blog today. I came across this gem from the family reunion about a year ago. I just wanted to point out how small Josh's shirt is.

Glamor shots

Now I know what your thinking, does this young lad have any parents, because we never see them in any of the pictures on the blog. Let me assure you, we are here. Its just that Milo doesn't like to share the lime light. Kids

Little Family Project

So it seems that my dear wife has lost her beautiful mind. I should have seen it coming, the late nights sitting at the kitchen table sanding down wooden blocks and claiming outlandish things like she invented the question mark and bursting out in song screaming I love you David Archuleta! (that's for all you American Idol fanatics, crazy sons of bees). No but seriously Ash and I are working on a little side project we like to call Hiccup inc. It's a fun little baby home decor thing we're been thinking about for a couple years. Ash is the muscle in the company, I just complain that she stays up to late (this coming from someone that stays up on average till about 2:00 every night). She is an amazing woman that's for sure. I wonder every day why she picked me and how I got so lucky. She's got this mom thing down and she rocks at it. Milo and I are lucky to have such a patient and caring mom. So anyways check this stuff out, it's cool. Oh, and don't get the wrong idea, we're not trying to sell you anything. Although I do a wonderful face cleanser that has a hint of lemon essence and is quite delightful. Just kidding, like I said not trying to sell you anything, just wanted to show off my wife's handy work. If you have any ideas let us know. You can find our stuff on www.etsy.com. Click on the scroll down at the top of the home page that says items: tags, titles. Select sellers: usernames. Then type into the box hiccupdecor and hit search. A little square icon will pop up on the next page with Milo in it and the company name, click on that and our site pops up. Thanks, love you guys

Milo the Conqueror

In a time...when all hope for mankind was lost. One baby stood tall and fearless, destined to his fate. As the last hope for a world trapped in endless darkness and the neverending evils of...the evil ones, causing evil...ness. There stood El MAGNIFICENTE! (for those of hispanic decent) or THE MAGNIFICENT!...Milo the Magnificent. His power knows no bounds, his strength undaunting...unmatched. With a head the size of a very small meteor, and the webs of the mighty duck billed platapus, this wonderboy fights for justice and truth. Fueled by many many small containers of flavored mush that mom likes to call nutritious food and daily routines of pulling himself to his feet and then crashing down to his backside this super hero stands unwavered and strong like bull. As you can see in this kandid super hero minute, Lux and Zephi in a weak and mindless moment try to take over the couch. They are quickly mounted and forced from their once comfortable bed onto the floor. Notice the left leg as it is powerfully thrust into the Lux's side. He has no choice but to take the beating. His defense is weak. Now, as dangerous as it may seem, after Milo has conquered his enemy, look into his crazed eyes and you will find terror and yes...rage. But not rage as it related to hate, but rage as it relates to conquering evil and loving his neighbor. Rage on young fearless leader with a really cute smile...rage on.

Legends in Cinema

Just wanted to say Knight Rider was the coolest show ever. I don't know what Gary Coleman has to do with anything, but he's a cute little guy with a mean thumbs up.
